Does it need to be plugged in? Yes, Sooth runs on a simple USB cable, so there's no battery to charge or run flat mid-session. It works with any USB wall adapter (5V/2A or higher) or laptop, the chargers you already have at home. No weird plugs, no adapters that don't fit Aussie sockets.
What does it actually feel like? Steady, gentle warmth across your lower back, a soft pulsing massage along your spine, and a light stretch from the curved shape. Most people describe it as "the day melting off." Many get so relaxed they nearly doze off before the 15 minutes are up, that's fine, it switches off by itself.

How do I clean it? The soft cover unzips and goes straight in the washing machine.
